A lot of times, we think we are at the receiving end of things.
But what we fail to recognize is that we get what we seek.
If we seek pleasure, we find things that are pleasurable even in the midst of despair.
If we seek pain, we find things that are painful even in the midst of joy.
In relationships, too, if we want to find faults in someone, we look for faults, and we use those flaws to justify a “faulty person”
If we want to find goodness in someone, we look for good things, and we use those good things to justify a “good person”
You get what you seek.
Rather, you seek what you want to get.
So then, seek happiness in life, search for the good things in people, and never let negativity come your way or control how you look at life. Life is too short.
